An open-cell polyurethane foam backer rod used as a backing in concrete construction for elastomeric and other hot-pour and cold-applied sealants. OCFoam acts as a barrier, limits the depth of sealant required and prevents excessive sealant use. Open-cell polyurethane foam is an inert material, and therefore, it is physically and chemically compatible with virtually all known hot-pour and cold-applied sealants including silicone and rubber asphalt.
